Jan KazmierDr. W. Jan Kazmier received his MD from the School of Medicine in Lodz, Poland. He was involved in medical research and academic teaching, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in Allergy and Immuno-Pharmacology. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Franklin Square Hospital Center in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by a fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Kazmier has published nearly 60 research papers, and was a Research Consultant for the National Science Foundation.For over 25 years, both his colleagues and patients alike have revered Dr. Kazmier for his unparalleled knowledge, skills, compassion, and generosity. His commitment to providing his patients with the highest level of care has earned him accolades from the community he serves so well. He has earned recognition for his charitable work with organizations such as Friends in Need and CASA for Kids, as well as his contributions to the local charities he is passionate about.Dr. Kazmier is a highly experienced specialist in Internal Medicine as well as in Allergy and Immunology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, and is the Clinical Assistant Professor with the College of Medicine at ETSU in Johnson City, TN.He established the Regional Allergy Asthma & Immunology Center, PC in Kingsport, TN in 1989.Dr. Shailee MadhokDr. Shailee Madhok is a world-renowned, board-certified specialist in Pediatric Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. She received her MD from Seth Gordhandas Sunderdas Medical College in Mumbai, India, and served her residency in Pediatrics at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York. She received her fellowship in Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology at Schneider Children’s Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York.Dr. Madhok achieved the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Auxiliary Memorial Award for her research in allergies and immunology, and is currently a member of the American Academy of Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology and a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology.She has also been recognized by the International Association of Pediatricians as a leading physician of the world and top pediatrician in Kingsport, TN. Another prestigious award presented to Dr. Madhok includes America’s Top Physicians by the Consumer’s Research Council of America in Allergy & Immunology.Dr. Madhok has broad clinical interests in all aspects of common allergic and immunologic disorders, and specializes in pediatric asthma, allergies, and skin conditions.Our Nurse PractitionerBrenda Bentley, FNPBrenda Bentley, FNP joined the staff at Regional Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Center in 2012. She began her career in health care in 1984 after graduating Southwest Virginia Community College with an Associate’s Degree as a Registered Respiratory Therapist. She received her RN degree from Virginia Appalachian Tri College Nursing Program.In 1994, Brenda moved to Kingsport where she was employed at Wellmont Holston Valley Medical Center for 12 years, and she gained experience by working in multiple departments while there. In 2004, she received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree, and in 2008 received her Master’s Degree of Nursing, obtaining Nurse Practitioner status from ETSU in Johnson City, TN.Brenda is a member of the American Nursing Association.
